The Aquasana shower filter helps your family enjoy bathing in filtered water with a simple attachment to your shower line that you can install in minutes. No plumber is necessary. Our unique two-stage shower filter system uses a combination of copper-zinc oxidation media and coconut shell carbon to reduce over 90% of the chlorine in your water. The filter also reduces organic chemicals and enhances pH balance. This means that you'll be able to enjoy the health and cosmetic benefits of showering in clean water, like reduced asthma symptoms, softer skin and healthier hair. Aquasana replacement shower filters last six months or 10,000 gallons, so a healthy shower can cost you as little as 25 cents a day with our no-contract replacement filter auto-ship program: Water for Life.

Akin to most Amazon products with multiple reviews, there’s something to be gleaned both from the positive AND negative feedback. This is certainly one of thosse products.

One shower is all it takes to see the difference! I would highly recommend this for anyone who doesn’t want to pay exorbitant prices for a whole-house water filtration system.

Great product, greedy company?

I bought the Aquasana Filter set that included the wand (not chrome set). For starters, I only purchased this filter six months ago and already the price has jumped $20. The replacement filter now costs the amount I paid for the whole set. I know manufacturing costs go up, Russian hackers scare Wall Street and threat of alien invasions all lead to higher prices, but that’s a 40% spike in 6 months. Seems a little excessive to me, but maybe the CEO needed to pay for his new yacht, know knows?

Good product but with some installation problems

The filter itself is good. The quality of water has definitely improved. I would be able to give a better testimonial of the quality of water after a few weeks of usage.

Good but the hose is stinky

I read the reviews before buying and my experience is pretty consistent with many of the comments made.
