How does it work? 6-Stage Filtration Produces Exceptionally Pure, Mineral Water

Every time you turn on a drinking faucet, source water passes through a 5-micron sediment filter that traps particulate matter — such as dirt, rust, and silt — that can affect the taste and appearance of your water, and potentially clog the system. A 5-micron GAC filter reduces chlorine taste and odor, as well as mineral oil, BTEX, Poly aromatic hydrocarbons (PACs), phenol, and halogenated substance. At the third stage, a denser carbon block filter removes any residual color, taste and odds (CTO), as well as difficult-to-remove chemicals such as chloramines. The system's fourth stage of filtration is especially important, as it involves the pressing of water through the NSF certified reverse osmosis (RO) membrane, the same technology used to produce bottled water. This semi-permeable membrane features tiny holes at a size of 0.0001 micron (µm) effectively removes arsenic, lead, perchlorate, chromium, copper, TDS (total dissolved solids), sodium, and a long list of other water contaminants. It also removes parasitic cysts, such as giardia and cryptosporidia. The 5th stage of filtration utilizes a finer GAC filter, which works as a final polishing filter when the water leaves the storage tank. The 6th stage features alkaline and mineral filter that adds a small amount of calcium and magnesium minerals (30-60 mg/l), just enough to make the water slightly alkaline and improves the taste. The end result is consistently great-tasting water at merely one cent per bottle. Besides helping your family, with any type of iSpring water-filtration product you use you may also prevent up to 16,000 plastic bottles from polluting the environment — all in the time it takes to use and replace a single filter.

This system was recommended to me by a friend and after installing it and having it running for about three months I couldn’t be happier with it. The water is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted from any source and it’s completely eliminated the need to buy bottled water for my wife and I so it will pay for itself in about a year. I also bought a TDS meter to measure the total dissolved solids in our water (HM Digital TDS-4). Our tap water consistently measures 690-720 ppm which is extremely high and consequently, it tastes pretty terrible. Our previous faucet mounted Pur filter only made a marginal improvement. The water coming out of the RO system now measures at around 25 ppm and tastes amazing.

Taste Like Bottled Water!!!

My old RO filter (with UV) was not working right, even after replacing all the filters. So I was looking for a new RO system with good reviews and decided on 2 systems: Tap Master TMAFC Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis with Alkaline by Perfect Water and iSpring 6-stage with RO Alkaline. The Tap Master had tons of great feedback, but so was iSpring (the non-alkaline model). The only reason why I ended up purchasing iSpring was the price.

No more Chemicals.

I was nervous about installing this as it was something new for me. Watch the video online before you order to be sure you can handle the installation. It’s not too tough. The most difficult part will be connecting it to your water supply. I didn’t have any connections under the sink so I needed to purchase a tap that would pierce the pipe. I contacted support to be sure this would be an acceptable method to connect and after sending them a few pictures they said it was fine. Support was responsive, which was great. For my troubles they sent me an extra set of filters! Excellent.

Great tasting, convenient, medium level install ability – had one hiccup during install – this may help you out!

I put this in over New Years weekend and everyone has been in love ever since. No more 5 gallon jugs to lug and with 6 people using it all day, its hasn’t run out at all and we drink a ton of water!

Who Knew Water Could Taste So Good?!

Seriously, this water is delicious. My husband poo-pooed the idea of getting this filter because he feels our tap water tastes great. But, since installing it 5 months ago he constantly raves about the water. It really does taste surprisingly better. It was also very easy to install. I installed it myself following along with their video. I had to be vigilant to really push the plastic tubing in farther than I expected it to go, or I had a couple little leaks, but once I got the hang of it it was simple. I also bought their freezer line so we use this for our ice and that too was simple to install. I can’t give this enough stars!

Just canceled my water delivery service – Great System!

After running to the plumbing supply store for a couple parts (to hook up an ice maker) the install took less than an hour. Was simple to do and had no real problems.

The system was easy to install

We installed this in our kitchen and have found we all are drinking water instead of less healthy alternatives. The system was easy to install. It took us longer to get an old rusted accessory out of the hole than to actually install this and mount the new faucet.

THE BEST AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED!

This system produces the best tasting reverse osmosis water I’ve ever tasted. It’s not difficult to install if you have a helper, and you’re organized, but the end product makes your investment of time and effort well worth it. Also, although the picture of the system makes it look really large, it actually is very compact, and fit easily under my sink. I really recommend this!
